Support for Publishing in Q1 and Q2 Scopus Indexed Journals

Objectives:

• Encourage faculty members to excel in scientific research.
• Direct faculty members at the university to publish in high-impact scientific journals.
• Contribute to increasing the number of citations for researchers affiliated with Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.

Funding Amount:

• Up to 25,000 SAR.

Project Duration:

• The timeline for preparing and publishing the research is nine months.

Conditions and Regulations:

• The principal investigator must be a faculty member at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.
• The research proposal, or any part of it, must not have been previously published or funded by any entity, either inside or outside the university.
• The research must be published in a journal classified in the first or second quartile (Q1 or Q2) in the Scopus database.
• The research must not have been submitted to the journal before the project support contract is signed.
• The research team must include the following acknowledgment in all resulting publications:
  "This project was funded by the Deanship of Scientific Research at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University award number.............."
• The project will not be closed, and financial entitlements will not be disbursed until the research and acknowledgment are published in the Scopus database.
• Priority for support is given to researchers who are not currently involved in other ongoing research projects as a principal investigator.
