The electronic portal of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University affirms its full commitment to safeguarding the confidentiality of its users’ and visitors’ information and places data security at the forefront of its strategic priorities. The General Administration of IT is committed to delivering reliable and highly efficient digital services through the implementation of the highest approved security standards and practices. Specialized teams at the University also carry out regular reviews and continuous updates of all security procedures and measures to ensure enhanced protection and the integrity of information. 

The key measures in place include the following:

• Adopting the latest antivirus and anti-malware solutions and ensuring that they are continuously updated.
• Full compliance with globally recognized standards for the development and operation of websites and electronic portals, including those issued by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). 
• Implementing strict procedures and controls to safeguard information security and technical systems, including fraud detection mechanisms and measures to reduce unauthorized access attempts through the University’s Cybersecurity Administration.
• Carrying out regular and comprehensive updates to cybersecurity controls and procedures in line with, or exceeding where necessary, applicable benchmark standards through the University’s Cybersecurity Administration.
• Implementing ongoing training programs for portal personnel to enhance competency and keep pace with the latest developments in the management and operation of digital platforms.
• Raising awareness among portal users and visitors by providing detailed awareness content related to usage policies, data privacy, and information confidentiality through the portal and its official social media channels.
