To enable international and local partnerships of genuine academic depth and to build cultural relations founded on tolerance, coexistence and respect, creating channels for creativity and cultural expression.
Objectives:
1. Contributing to the University’s vision and mission of ranking among world-class universities across all fields of teaching and research through distinguished local and international agreements.
2. Activating international cooperation agreements in academic, research and cultural fields with universities worldwide, developing a clear framework for the various areas of cooperation, and following up the renewal of agreements.
3. Raising the level of the University’s participation in cultural days and weeks and in international exhibitions.
4. Preparing an annual forward plan for the University covering all international and academic participations and their accompanying exhibitions.
5. Strengthening cultural ties and relations between the University and other universities by organising active participation in joint academic and cultural committees.
6. Planning the building of bridges of cooperation and opening international and regional channels to benefit from the experience of comparable institutions and to share the University’s distinctive expertise with them.
