Because of the urgent need to establish a central laboratory in the College of Sciences and Humanities, PSAU established a laboratory and provide it with the latest scientific equipment and modern technologies at the highest levels and international standards under distinguished technical management. The laboratory will help to keep its lead as one of these advanced universities at the regional level in the latest international rankings. Besides, the remarkable growth witnessed by Saudi universities in the field of scientific research at the global level.
PSAU’s central library is a key source of knowledge, as it is an integral part of the university's mission, which is focused on education, research, and community service.
- Clinical Skills and Simulation Unit at the College of Medicine
It is a specialized edifice for training health resources from medical students, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, and for evaluating participants through patient diagnosis and education models that include the use of the virtual patient and electronic dummies for high-accuracy simulation. Moreover, It is a training and research center under the supervision of the College of Medicine, and in coordination with the health colleges and the university hospital, the center trains working health resources and provides an appropriate educational environment for students of health colleges.
In addition, the center is also involved in research activities related to innovation and simulation in the health field. The center contributes to the evaluation of the performance of the participants in its programs by providing the necessary requirements for diagnosing the disease using various education models that include simulation techniques, such as the use of virtual patient and electronic dolls for high-accuracy simulation.
It contains a central studio equipped according to the latest specifications and standards and uses the latest technologies and equipment in the field of digital production and audio recording, in preparation for transforming the university into a center for the production and dissemination of digital knowledge. It is one of the initiatives of the National Transformation 2020 at the university, which was represented in establishing and localizing digital content production processes within the university.
The entrepreneurship Program (Rowad) at PSAU is one of the national transformation initiatives 2020 and one of the ways that lead to achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030. It aims to support and provide university students with knowledge, skills, and experience, develop their talents and adopt their innovations, which is based on the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which focused on innovation and leadership. Moreover, the university represents an incubating environment for the development of this knowledge and skills and converting them into outputs that contribute to the development of the knowledge economy of the Kingdom and qualify young people in accordance with the requirements and needs of the Kingdom in the next stage.
The Entrepreneurship Program (Rowad) at PSAU includes a number of programs and activities that total five programs. The program seeks to achieve its goals by implementing several projects and practices related to the program's interests.
