On Thursday, April 25, 2024, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Riyadh Region, sponsored the graduation ceremony for the 15th batch of university students, held at the university's new sports stadium.
Upon his arrival at the ceremony venue, His Royal Highness was welcomed by His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Kharj, and the esteemed University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi.
His Royal Highness Prince, expressed his happiness in sharing the joy of the university students, highlighting the achievements and organization he witnessed at the university. He stated, "I am happy to be among the halls of this young university, which is steadily moving into the future, having achieved much and set to achieve more." He congratulated the graduates, wishing them success in serving religion, the king, and the country.
Following the national anthem and the graduates' procession, the ceremony began with a recitation from the Holy Quran. Afterward, a speech was delivered on behalf of the graduates, where they expressed their appreciation for the patronage and honor bestowed by His Royal Highness at this ceremony, acknowledging their happiness from achieving the fruits of their hard work, dedication to learning, and service to the nation and its leadership.
The graduates then took the oath, and His Royal Highness and the audience watched a video presentation about PSAU. Following that, the University President, Prof. Al-Talhi, gave a speech, thanking and expressing his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for their support and attention to education, research, and innovation.
He also expressed his appreciation to His Royal Highness, the Governor of the Riyadh Region, for his sponsorship of the graduation. He said, "This is a significant annual event in the university's journey and the journey of the students, who are now at the cusp of a new stage in their lives after years of academic pursuit, drawing knowledge from its original sources, surrounded by the dedication and care of the university's faculty who devoted themselves to the service of education, sharing new insights that benefit society and contribute to national development."
He noted that they were celebrating the graduation of several students from various specializations and programs. Then, he announced the graduation of the 15th batch from the academic year 1444 H - 1445 H. Following that, a group of university students presented a national operetta. At the end of the ceremony, the University President and the university's deans took a group photo.
