On Thursday, H.R.H Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Prince of Riyadh Province, sponsored the graduation ceremony of the fourteenth batch of university students for the academic year 1444 AH. The ceremony took place at the university campus in Al-Kharj city. Upon his arrival at the venue, His Royal Highness was received by the university president, vice presidents, and several deans.
The ceremony began with the royal salutation, followed by an opening speech in which His Royal Highness, the Prince of Riyadh Province, welcomed the university president, esteemed guests, and honorable attendees. He expressed gratitude for their presence and sponsorship of this ceremony, highlighting that this generous support reflects the Kingdom's commitment and concern for advancing higher education and involving this bright group of talented individuals in celebrating their academic achievements. These achievements come after a long journey of dedication and hard work in various fields of knowledge, acquiring valuable scientific competence and vast educational experiences.
Then the procession of graduates from various disciplines began. Following that, the ceremonial program commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. The graduates delivered speeches in which they expressed their gratitude for the care and support they receive from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' government and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, across various fields. They praised the university's and its professors' tangible contributions, expressing their joy on this occasion and their aspirations to serve their religion and country in their respective fields of work, contributing to the realization of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Afterward, the attendees watched a documentary showcasing the journey of PSAU and its branches, highlighting its notable achievements in scientific, research, and societal domains.
Then the university president, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi, delivered his speech to the graduates, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership for their generous support, continuous contributions, and wise guidance in various fields. The university president extended his heartfelt thanks to His Royal Highness, the Prince of Riyadh Province, for his honorable presence and for sharing in the students' joy on this occasion. The university president congratulated the graduates, their parents, and their families on this celebration, wishing them success and fulfillment in achieving the nation's vision by building an ambitious generation that contributes to the comprehensive development plan of the country through their entry into the job market.
At the end of the ceremony, the medical college students performed their oath. Subsequently, His Royal Highness, the Prince of Riyadh Province, honored the graduating students who achieved the highest honors. The ceremony concluded with a group photo with the patron of the event.
