Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of PSAU patronage the graduation ceremony of the university’s sixth batch students. The ceremony witnessed the presence of Vices-Rector and Deans, which was held to celebrate the graduation of 1254 students.
The ceremony initiated by the graduates march. Then, it began by verses from the Holy Quran, followed by students’ speech delivered by the graduate Omar Osaimi form Dentistry College. He extended his colleagues and his thanks to Rector, who was like a father for them. Then, he thanked the audience, Vices-Rector, Deans and faculty members. He denoted that the university has did it best to provide them a suitable environment for education. At the end of his speech, Student Osaimi thanked the parents, who are receiving now the result of their efforts.
After that, a documentary was displayed about PSAU march. Then, Rector delivered a speech welcoming the audience. He pointed out that this ceremony is a huge event to the university because it provides labor market with its graduates, who are able to produce. He added that we have to pray for the funding king and his successors for their assessment in unifying and building the kingdom. The welfare and prosperity that kingdom witnesses are result of their actions and we wish for the march to continue to achieve everyone expectation.
Rector was keen in this occasion to renew the allegiance pledge of the university members and his to the Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques, Crown Prince and Deputy of Crown Prince. He prayed for Allah to provide the king with what he asks to strengthen the state institutions, serve the citizens and save the kingdom. He pointed to the king’s loyalty to his late brother by naming the university after him.
Furthermore, Rector addressed the graduates in his speech saying they are the essential foundation of the kingdom and its institutions. Humanity development did not happened by chance, it happened by Allah willing first then by the hands of the hard workers.
Moreover, Rector denoted to the university’ latest projects and development in the infrastructure of the female college and faculty members housing. He also denoted the remarkable advancement of the university in the academic accreditation, excellent faulty attraction, and the admission of female students in the field of business administration and pharmacy, besides the beginning of postgraduate studies in the field of Islamic studies and educational management. In addition, he highlighted the university’s distinction in scientific publication and community services in the health field by opening medical clinics, and providing training consultations and providing technical consultation in administrative business. He added that the university’s achievements were accomplished by Allah willing first, and the by the sponsorship of the government on the Custodian of the Tow Holy Mosques.
At the end of his speech, Rector re-congratulated the graduates and their parents. Then he said that the university would remember their efforts and it would be pleased to sponsor their scientific ideas that serves Islam, the kingdom and knowledge. Rector also thanked the organizing committee of this event for their efforts.
In addition, Dr. Abdul Aziz Saqer Dean of Admission and Registration congratulated Rector and the students’ parents in this event. He also announced the students’ statistics, whereas the graduates’ total number in this year was (3796) divided into (1254 male students) and (1542 female students), from all the university’s branches in Al Kharj, Hotat Bani Tamim, Aflaj, Slayel and Wadi Addawasir.
At the end of the ceremony, Rector handed the outstanding and excellence students the graduation and excellence certificates.
