Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of PSAU patronaged the graduation ceremony of the sixth batch of PSAU students in Aflaj branch.
The ceremony started by the graduate speech delivered by student Abdullah Kharaan. He expressed his thanks and appreciations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz for nurturing the education in the kingdom and for his eagerness to graduate conscious generation about its civilization achievements and its community culture. On behalf of the students, he extended their thanks to Rector, Vices-Rector, Deans and Faculty Members, besides the administrational staff and all the university’s members for their efforts regarding the educational process.
Moreover, a presentation about PSAU was displayed. Then, Rector delivered speech thanking the audience and praising this annual occasion, which brings joy for everyone. He added that this occasion crowns an academic journey full of hard work and combined efforts from university’s students, academics and administrative. All that was achieved by the grace of Allah first, and then the generous support of our wise government, which is led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince and Crown Prince Deputy. Rector assured the university has done its best to accomplish an academic, administrative and technical institution. It prepared a strategic plan that identifies priorities, reduces time, develops the academic programs and attracts remarkable faculty members, besides communicating and conducting partnerships with the highly reputed universities in the world. That led to prepare the university and its departments to obtain quality and academic accreditation. At the end of his speech, Rector urged the graduates to continue their march and efforts, besides being builders of the kingdom.
Later on, Dr. Rashid Aal Lahian Supervisor of Aflaj Colleges delivered a speech welcoming the audience. He said that the kingdom is living its golden age in education, whereas it invests in educating a generation that holds development torch based on its religion, language and identity. He added that the College of Sciences and Humanities in Aflaj is proud of its sixth batch graduates. The college provides the province with students capable to build and archive to the kingdom and the province what they hope from them. In addition, he stressed that preparing a qualified workforce is great responsibility. Building minds is not an easy process it is complicated and requires diligent staff. Our graduates are our best achievements and the college will be open for them always.
Furthermore, Dr. Abdul Rahman Zannan Assistant of Educational and Academic Affairs Dean delivered a speech congratulating the graduates. He denoted the key role of Deanship of Admission and Registration in the university and the branches and their continuous keenness regarding student nurturing from his registration till his graduation. He added that the deanship is doing its best to benefit from the latest technologies that facilitate the supportive processes to the academic system, and to communicate with university branch in Aflaj Province, which led to speed-up and facilitate the completion of the work.
At the end, Rector honored the graduates and wished them the benefit of this country and advancement.
