We at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University are very interested in the succession and dissemination of knowledge and stimulate and increase the national content. We are proud of the Institute of Research and Consulting Services and its special excellence towards knowledge investment, which includes the composition of university courses.
This came in the speech of Rector Prof. Abdul Aziz Al-Hamid at the inauguration ceremony of university courses organized by the Institute of Research and Consulting Services at the university, where he stressed the importance of the investment role played by the Institute of Research and Consulting Services, especially if the investment in the knowledge side.
The ceremony started with the Holy Quran and then a speech by the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Mubarak Al-Harbi, in which he explained the Institute's interest in knowledge, investment and importance, pointing out that the project of authoring university courses is one of the fruits of knowledge investment. And relevant colleges and departments. He thanked everyone for their contribution to the success of the project in its early stages.
This was followed by a speech by the Vice-rector for Educational Affairs and Dr. Mishari Al-Osaimi, in which he explained the role of the Institute of Research and Consulting Services in adopting this project until it reached what it is now.
Later, the Rector of the University inaugurated the project of authoring university courses in its first phase, which included writing communication skills courses for preparatory year students and general preparation materials (Arabic language skills 101 and Arabic Writing 103).
On the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, the Dean of the Research and Consulting Services Institute, signed a contract to write the mathematics courses (differentiation and integration) with the Deanship of the preparatory year, and the formation of the National History course with the College of Education in Al-Kharj to announce the beginning of the second phase of the drafting of the courses, which includes specialized general preparation courses.
At the end of the ceremony, Rector honored the faculties, departments and faculty members who participated in the authoring of the courses.
The Dean of the Institute also presented a souvenir for Rector that includes the courses that were written.
