On Tuesday, 12/21/2021, PSAU represented by the Department of Public Relations and Media and the College of Education, celebrated today, the World Arabic Language Day, which is celebrated on December 18 every year.
The celebration witnessed the presence of Prof. Abdul Rahman Al-Talhi rector of PSAU, Vice-Rectors, the Deans of the Faculty members and the supporting deanships, and a number of attendees at the university’s main theater.
The program of the celebration began with the Saudi national anthem, including the recitation of verses from the Qur’an, then a video. Then a poem was presented by Dr. Jamal Al-Hamda.
The ceremony concluded with honoring the participants by the Rector and taking memorial photos.
It is noteworthy that the university, in accordance with its vision and mission, seeks to enhance the importance of celebrating this occasion with the aim of highlighting the high value of the Arabic language in writing and speaking, as the language of the Qur’an and one of the oldest languages. In addition to highlighting the effective role of the university in building bridges of linguistic, cultural, and scientific communication in order to be an academic beacon that serves society in all its categories and participates effectively in all events.
