At 10 am on Wednesday 05/04/1443 AH corresponding to 11/11/2021, the Scientific Council of PSAU held its third session for the academic year 1443 AH. The session was headed by Dr. Nasser bin Saad Al-Qahtani Acting Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research - Chairman of the Scientific Council.
the Chairman of the Council began the meeting by discussing the topics on its agenda. The Scientific Council issued several recommendations, as follows:
- Approval of appointing a number of faculty members at the university.
- Approval of appointing a number of new members to the membership of the Permanent Committee for Appointments and Promotions during its current term, which ends at the end of the academic year 1443 AH.
- Disapproval of the petition submitted by two faculty members at the university.
- Approval of the formation of committees of arbitrators for a number of faculty members applying for promotion to the ranks of professor and associate professor.
- Approval of the resignation of a number of university faculty members.
- Approval of the results of the arbitration of a chapter from a book by a faculty member at the university.
- Approval of the arbitration of two books for two faculty members at the university.
- Disapproval of a book arbitrated by a faculty member at the university.
- Approval of granting a sabbatical leave to a faculty member at the university.
- Approval of a sabbatical report for a faculty member at the university.
At the end of the session, Dr. Nasser Al-Qahtani congratulated the appointed faculty members and wished them and everyone more success.
