Under the patronage of Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi Rector of PSAU, the Vice-Rectorate for Development and Quality inaugurated the program accreditation strategy. The inauguration witnessed the presence of Vice-Rectors, deans of faculties and employees of academic programs.
The ceremony began with a welcome to the attendees and a speech by Dr. Hassan bin Nasser Al-Tharawi, Dean of Development and Quality, during which he reviewed the university’s strategy for programmatic accreditation with its various stages and procedures. After that, Dr. Nasser Al-Qahtani Vice-Rector for Development and Quality, gave a speech in which he emphasized the concept of program accreditation and its importance and the university’s journey in that field. Then, Rector delivered a speech about the role of the university and its programs during the next stage. Rector affirmed his full support for all the participating programs in its journey towards continuous development and improvement for the purpose of the university, which shows its impact on the students and society.
The ceremony concluded with a workshop on the requirements for accreditation of programs presented by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Mubarrad and Dr. Eid Abu Ezz. The ceremony included a mutual and constructive discussion between the attendees and the university’s leaderships.
