Prof. Abdulaziz Al Hamid Rector of PSAU received at his office in University City Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Khraif Undersecretary of Higher Education at Education Ministry. The reception was attended by Vice-Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs Dr. Mushari Al Osaimi and Dr. Essa Addowsari General Supervisor of Rector Office.
During the meeting, Rector reviewed the university’s development since its inception, the most prominent scientific and academic achievements, and the university’s ranking according to the Web of Science classification and Scoups in the field of publishing scientific research between Saudi and international universities. He also talked about the university's most prominent achievements in terms of infrastructure in the technical field and projects in the governorates of Al-Kharj, Al-Dalam, Hawtat Bani Tamim, Al-Aflaj, Al-Salil, and Wadi Al-Dawasir. Rector highlighted the most prominent community partnerships provided by the university in cooperation with the government and private sectors, then offered his thanks, appreciation, and appreciation for this visit, which reflects the Ministry of Education’s keenness to support and develop Saudi universities.
After that, Dr. Al- Khraif and his accompanying delegation moved to the Vice-Rectorate for Educational and Academic Affairs, where Dr. Mishari Al-Osaimi reviewed the most important academic programs and future plans for the university in the academic field.
At the end of his visit, the Undersecretary for University Education stated that the aim of the visit is to support universities in e-learning at the beginning of the new academic year to achieve the leadership's aspirations. He added, let us be a tool for creating human capabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of this pandemic due to the difficulties facing the countries of the world in the field of education, and we in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the capabilities available from the state are able to provide educational quality and develop possible tools for faculty members and students to provide a journey of integrated education.
