Under the patronage of Rector and supervision of Vice-Rectorate and in the presence of a number of competent authorities, led by the heads of municipal councils as well as engineers specialized in the municipalities of the governorates (Kharj, Dilam and Hayathim), a company (Khatib and Alami) in charge of preparing the hydrological study for the prevention of flood dangers from the university cities in Al-Kharj presented a video presentation on what was implemented in the first and second phase of the project.
The presentation explained the methodology of the study adopted and the foundations and design criteria that were based on the results of the technical studies conducted in the first phase, and in the last part of the presentation explained the alternatives and design solutions for each site separately with clarifying the features of each design alternative in addition to its technical recommendations. It also discussed Rector’s notes about the coming satges in the project.
Vice-Rector Dr. Abdullah Al-Jumah, said that the preparation of these studies was in line with the importance of protecting the university facility from the dangers of floods in addition to the neighboring areas of university cities in the province of Al-Kharj, and to find distinctive solutions to be a model, in addition to ensuring the protection of planned projects Created.
