Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU received at his office in the university city a group of students from College of Sciences and Humanities at Aflaj province. The students took a training in University of Waseda in Japan during the summer.

For his part, Dr. Al-Kubairi thanked the Director of the University for sponsoring this agreement, pointing out that this program comes as a result of the cooperation agreement between the University of Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz (represented at the Faculty of Science and Humanities in Aflaj) and the University of Waseda, Japan, which is one of the useful and beneficial agreements that Concluded by the University with the State of Japan.
He explained that he had lived close to this year's program and saw how the students who participated in the program benefited. The benefits varied. In terms of education, students benefited from modern teaching methods in Japan, especially in computer programming and networks, During which the participating students acquired new skills in the field of specialization in addition to informing them about the latest methods in the systems of networks and Internet connection through the field visits of Japanese companies specialized in communication and the Internet. In terms of culture, the students experienced Japanese life in all its forms and saw the seriousness and quality in the performance of work through direct contact with Japanese teachers.
He also explained that a plan was prepared by the program managers to take advantage of the experiences of the students participating in this program and transfer them through awareness programs for the rest of their colleagues in university faculties in Aflaj province.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud Salim presented a visual presentation of the achievements of this agreement. On the level of mutual visits, six members of the Saudi faculty visited Japan through this agreement. In the field of joint research, three research papers were published in scientific journals With high coefficient of influence (isi) in the field of water purification by nanotechnology. In terms of training of students, the number of students trainees on the training program about 25 students of the university over the four years of the Convention, which began in 1435 and ended in 1439 .
He also thanked Dr. Al-Khudairi, the Rector of the University for this agreement. He pointed out that such international agreements are a great opportunity for the University. He also thanked Dr. Al-Kubairi and explained that the important benefit of such programs should benefit the society and the level of achievement for university graduates.
At the end of the meeting, the Rector gave advice to his children and urged them to transfer the experience they gained through this scientific trip to their colleagues at the university. He also praised the efforts of those who carry out this distinguished program which carries many important objectives that help to develop the students' skills.
