Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU paid an inspection visit to the university’s projects in Wadi Addawasir and Slayel Provinces. He began his inspection visit to the province of Slayel. The college consists of 11 laboratories, 163 administrative rooms, 53 classrooms, a chapel, 15 cafeterias, a cafeteria and a theater. It will be equipped with high quality technology that will accommodate 400 students and a planned library furnished with state-of-the-art technology to meet the students' research and study needs.
Later on , Rector visited Wadi Addawasir to checking on the female college projects in the province that include Preparatory Year, applied medical sciences, science, humanities and education. Each college consists of 18 laboratories, 45 classrooms, 156 administrative offices, three non-classroom classrooms, a theater with a capacity of 400 students and a cafeteria and a modern library. Dr. Al-Hamed visited the College of Science and Arts, which consists of three floors, including classrooms, administrative offices, English language laboratories, computers, audio and video studios, cafeterias, faculty offices, a modern library equipped with the highest technical specifications and a theater for more than 500 students. The building has more than 156 million riyals.
The project also includes a general site of the College worth 34 million SAR, including parking lots and roads, a sewage treatment plant and a desalination plant.
Prof. Al Hammed was accompanied by Dr. Abdullah Jumaa Vice Rector, Dr. Abdulla Assaqer Vice-Rector of Branches and a number of the university’s officials.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Al-Hammed noted the great interest of the wise leadership in the university education institutions in the Kingdom, including the University of Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz to imitate the best international educational models of quality and excellence, stressing that the generous and generous support given by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to university education is in the interest of And expressed the hope that the opening of the projects of Prince Sattam University in the governorates of Wadi Al-Dawasir and Slayel will contribute to providing the supportive environment to stimulate the students and employees of the University to further creativity and excellence.
He praised the distinguished efforts of the University Agency and the project management and information technology in the completion of these projects and their preparation in a timely manner, stressing that what is witnessed by the colleges of Wadi Addawasir and Slayel is a qualitative leap and a remarkable progress and a continuous pursuit towards achievement for the benefit of students and governors of all the projects being implemented, Stressing the need to continue work and achievement in order to achieve the objectives.
