Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU paid an inspection visit to the university’s projects in Wadi Addawasir and Slayel Provinces. He began his inspection visit to the province of Slayel. The college consists of 11 laboratories, 163 administrative rooms, 53 classrooms, a chapel, 15 cafeterias, a cafeteria and a theater. It will be equipped with high quality technology that will accommodate 400 students and a planned library furnished with state-of-the-art technology to meet the students' research and study needs.
Later on , Rector visited Wadi Addawasir to checking on the female college projects in the province that include Preparatory Year, applied medical sciences, science, humanities and education. Each college consists of 18 laboratories, 45 classrooms, 156 administrative offices, three non-classroom classrooms, a theater with a capacity of 400 students and a cafeteria and a modern library. Dr. Al-Hamed visited the College of Science and Arts, which consists of three floors, including classrooms, administrative offices, English language laboratories, computers, audio and video studios, cafeterias, faculty offices, a modern library equipped with the highest technical specifications and a theater for more than 500 students. The building has more than 156 million riyals.
The project also includes a general site of the College worth 34 million SAR, including parking lots and roads, a sewage treatment plant and a desalination plant.
Prof. Al Hammed was accompanied by Dr. Abdullah Jumaa Vice Rector, Dr. Abdulla Assaqer Vice-Rector of Branches and a number of the university’s officials.
