Represent by Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education, PSAU signed on Tuesday 7/3/1438H two training agreement with Adbiaa Charity. The agreement aimed to train 42 of the charity beneficiaries. It was signed in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Jumaa Vice Rector. Dr. Khalid Ghemlas Dean of Community Service and Continuous Education signed the agreements on behalf of the university while Shaikh Ali Subaie Board chairman represented the Charity.
Dr. Ghemlas said the first agreement included the training of 30 beneficiaries to obtain Cambridge International Certificate in IT Skills sponsored by Bank AlJazira. The second agreement included the training of 12 beneficiaries to obtain HR Diploma sponsored The Ministry of Labor and Social Development.
Furthermore, the signing of the two agreements comes from the university’s role in community service. However, Deanship of Community Service and Continuous Education is the university’s window on the community. It ties the university’s connections with society. Such programs aim to develop manpower, which will benefit the community and satisfy labor market requirements.
