Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of PSAU approved to fund a number of research proposals delivered to the Deanship of Scientific Research with a budget exceeded four million Riyals (4,157.700 SAR).
Dr. Ghaleb Nahdi Dean of Scientific Research clarified that Rector approved 90 research project delivered to the deanship during the academic year 1435/1436H through the deanship’s qualitative program. These projects were approved after passing a number of auditing and arbitration sages. The deanship through three specialist committees has sorted these proposals and made sure that they meet the conditions and regulations. Then, these projects were subjected to inspection by quoting program to make sure of their authenticity and to indicate the false quoting percentage by comparing it with an international accurate database. After that, the research proposal were sent to specialist arbitrators from outside the university.
Dr. Nahdi elaborated that the 90 project proposals represent the first batch of the approved researches, which are divided into the following:
· Seventy-eight proposal for specialized researches.
· Four research proposals for the program of supporting the new faculty members.
· Seven researches about local community development issues such as education, family, economy, community and community health, besides the modern trends and their effect on the community.
· Two research project for the program of supporting researches with global partnership.
On this regard, Dr. Nahdi extended his thanks to Rector and Dr. Abdul Aziz Hammed Vice-Rector of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research for their continuous support to the deanship, which comes from eagerness to enhance the deanship outputs and to enable the deanship to presume it duties towards scientific research excellence and effective global partnership.
