Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of PSAU sponsored the concluding ceremony of computing apprenticeship program (Promising Leadership). The program conclusion witnessed the presence of Vices-Rector, a number of Deans and the project’s members, along with the participant students.
The ceremony began by verses from the Holy Quran delivered by Ziyad Deen Participamt. Then, participant Nuha Harbi delivered the participants speech. She said that her colleagues and she have acquired a great benefit from the program in acquiring new skills, knowledge and trends. Next, Dr. Fahad Arjani Supervisor of the project delivered a speech clarifying the importance of the project internationally, which is adapted in some countries for 100 years continuously. That adoption led the prosperity of these countries. He also pointed out to the diversity of the computing apprenticeship including PSAU program. At the end of his speech, Dr. Arjani thanked the supportive deanships to the program, including the Deanship of IT and Distance Learning and the Deanship of Student Affairs. He also thanked the experts and the participant students for their efforts in making this program successful. In addition, he delivered a presentation about the program’s march, results and statistics.
Furthermore, innovation expert delivered a speech on behalf of the experts denoting the importance of the program, which depends of modern communications the rough educational e-portal.
Moreover, the organizing committee of the ceremony displayed a documentary about the program and its goals and activates.
Later on, Rector delivered a speech stressing on the importance of future existence to the program and its continuity. He congratulated the participants for their achievements. Then, he handed project certificates to the experts and to the students.
At the end of the ceremony, Rector inaugurated the accompanied exhibit to the ceremony, which included on posters of 56 projects from the program graduates. The projects were in entrepreneurship, engineering, medicine, and innovation, besides community service, chemistry, mathematics, and drawing.
