Prince Abdul Aziz bin Sattam Consultant of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques paid a visit to the university. He was received by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of PASU, Vices-Rector, Deans and a number of leaderships.
At the beginning of his visit, HRH listened to a detailed brief about the university’s current and future projects at Al Kharj and the branches in Hotat Bani Tamim, Aflaj, Slayel and Wadi Addawasir. Then, he took a brief on the prototype of the University City delivered by Rector. The brief included on explanation about the academic and administration building, and faculty members and students housing.
Later on, HRH held a meeting with the university’s Rector, Vices-Rector and Deans. The meeting discussed many academic and administrational topic, besides the future and strategic plans of the university, which contribute in achieving its objectives and development. Then, Prince Abdul Aziz visited Chair of Shaikh Abdullah Ghunaim for prophetic medication, where he was received by Dean of the college, Vices-Dean and Faculty Members. Supervisor of the chair gave HRH a brief about the chair’s most prominent achievements.
Moreover, HRH and his companion paid a visit to the College of Applied Medical Sciences and Dentistry College, where they were viewed the colleges’ advanced equipment and the highlighted teaching methods affective in both colleges. They also get familiar with services delivered by the two colleges, which fulfill the community partnership concept. Then, HRH inspected the under construction site of the medical city, where he listened to a brief from the project’s engineer about the accomplished and the future stages of the project.
Furthermore, Rector expressed his delight and appreciation to HRH for his respond to the visit invitation. He added this visit was fruitful. It included a discussion on many academic, administrative and educational issues, besides the discussion of a number of the university’s plans.
