PSAU participated in the sixth International Exhibit and Conference of High Education, which is sponsored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz. It was organized be Ministry of Education on 26-29/6/1436H. The event witnessed wide participation from local and international universities and higher education institutions, besides leaders of higher education in the advanced countries.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of PSAU pointed out that holding the Exhibit and Conference for Higher Education is a unique event to the kingdom and the Middle East region. It is one of the most important means in developing the higher educational sector and in enhancing the technology role in communications, it is also provides an academic environment that exceeds the kingdom to the international universities.
Moreover, Dr. Al Asimi clarified that in the past years this event attracted representatives of highly reputed universities to present experiences and knowledge in the field. Visitors of the conference were able communicate in one place with local and international educational institutions. It is also a chance for our students to proceed in their higher education and know the international universities.
In addition, Dr. Nasser Al Kahtani Supervisor of the university’s pavilion pointed out that PSAU participation aims to achieve educational renaissance through strengthen bilateral educational relations with local and international universities. Moreover, workshops and meetings with highly reputed international universities were held to study ways of cooperation regarding the academic and educational programs development.
Dr. Al Kahtani added, PSAU pavilion highlights the university’s scientific research, programs and educational services achievements. It included also on well-designed brochures that clarify the academic programs of the university and the most prominent projects that are under processing. The pavilion was supported by interactive monitors that clarify the university’s services, besides the existence of specialists to answer visitors’ inquiries.
