Represented by the Committee of Community Service, Pharmacy College celebrated the World Water Day by student participation in educational corner. The corner was set-up in one of Al Kharj Province parks. It aimed to show importance of water preservation.
The ceremony began by a speech clarified the importance of water to life in earth. It also indicated guidance of the Prophet Mohammad regarding water preservation even if were in a river. A person shall not get used to wastewater, which is the most precious gift from Allah, because it became a habit. Students pointed out to the required amount of water by a person and its benefits in the prevention of many diseases and risks that could catch us if we drank less water, besides the best time drinking water.
The corner activities included on drawing activity for the kids that trained them by painting to recognize the deference between the good and bad habits in using water in daily life usage. The students delivered brochures about water preservation and inquiry cards for attendance to indicate their opinions and suggestions. The also distributed Zamzam water on the audience. Moreover, visitors’ interaction were amazing. It is worth mentioning, that the program was prepared and executed by Amal Merdas and Malak Muqhem.
