PSAU won the “Golden Pen” in Oratory section of the Sixth Scientific Conference that concluded on Thursday 13, 6/1436H. The conference was concluded in the presence of Dr. Azzam Dekhail Minster of Education and it was held in Jeddah Province.
Ten of the university’s students achieved variant places in other sections. However, the golden pen prized was achieved by Hatem Osaimi student of Dentistry College. He won the prize for his performance in delivering a speech about supporting the prophet. The speech was improvised and distinguished by thoroughness and delivery quality. He used body language and other means of speech delivery, which pleased the jury and the audience.
On the following, a list of the winner students:
· Ibrahim Owaian student of Engineering College in Al Kharj/ first place in the activity “Ishraha” (Explain it).
· Anwar Asimi, Anfal Twailee, Rwabi Twayim and Sarah Yahiya students of Applied Medical Sciences College in AL Kharj/ fourth place in the activity “Voluntary Team of Baraka”.
· Hatem Osaimi student of Dentistry College/ fourth place in section of innovation and inventions. The participation was titled “an instrument that helps in the second tooth decay stuffing”.
· Jawaher Maadi and Nourah Kulaib Students of Sciences and Humanities in Hotat Bani Tamim/ fourth place in section basic researches and engineering. The research was titled “The effect of biogenic nanoparticles alloy of gold and silver on bacteria E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria”.
· Abdul Majeed Qunnas student of Business Administration in Al Kharj/ ninth place in humanity and social studies. The research was titled “Management accounting and its role in enhancing the competitiveness”.
Furthermore, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of PSAU congratulated the winners and appreciated the huge efforts of the Deanship of Students Affairs in preparing the students participations. In order to find a scientific base that is able assist in the kingdom development, Rector assured the university would continue its efforts to develop the students’ participations in coming scientific conferences.
