SAU Council held his fourth session on Sunday 12, 4/1436H in the University City’s headquarter. The Council lifted his condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz the Saudi royal family and the people in the death of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz. The council also thanked King Salman for his comprehensive decisions that satisfied the Saudi citizen needs and desires. The decisions were also meeting the development movement in the Kingdom at this stage. In addition, it showed the leadership eagerness to root security, stability and development of the kingdom.
Furthermore, the Council congratulated Dr. Azzam Addekhail for the Royal trust in appointing him Mister of Education, and wished him success. The Council extended his appreciation to Dr. Khalid Sabti the former Higher Education Minister for his efforts during his duty time.
Dr. Abdul Aziz Hammed Vice- Rector of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Council Secretary said that the Council discussed a number of topics that included the following:
· Appointing and transferring a number of faculty members.
· Setting a number of execution roles.
· Developing a master program in curriculum and teaching methods in Education College in Al Kharj.
· Scholarship topics.
· Students’ and faculty members’ affairs.
