SAU has signed a cooperation agreement with the College of Communications and IT to provide a diploma in office applications and computer maintenance for mutes and deaf persons. The signage took place in the college’s headquarter in Riyadh o 24/2/1436H. Dr. Abdul Rahman Khudairi Vice-Rector of Educational and Academic Affairs represented the university in the signage and the college was represented by Dr. Ibrahim Watban Dean of the College. The signage also witnessed the presence of Dr. Saeed Enezi Dean of Community College.
Dr. Khudairi said that this agreement reflects the university’s eagerness to assist in developing persons of the special needs. He added that through this agreement, persons of special needs would be provided with number of qualification and training programs to help them to coexist with reality and community.
Dr. Enezi clarified that the agreement is an outcome of continuous meetings the College of Communications and IT. He added, the college of communications is marked by offering diploma program in office applications and computer maintenance for mutes and deaf persons. It also has a remarkable training team. Furthermore, the university will benefit the cooperation in the training field and sign language interpreters.
It is worth mentioning, this agreement widen the possibility of executing such programs for persons of special needs and their sponsors.
