College of Engineering held a workshop titled “Accomplishments of Academic Cooperation in SAU with California and Quebec Universities”. The workshop was held in the presence of Dr. Abdul Rahman Khudairi Vice-Rector of Educational and Academic and Dr. Abdul Aziz Hammed Vice-Rector of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Affairs.
At the beginning of the workshop, Dr. Khudairi delivered a speech on behalf of Rector that assures the university’s keenness about its graduates from the Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering Colleges. This keenness is for acquiring good reputation that makes labor market rushes to hire its graduates. On this regard, SAU has provided a suitable environment for the students to develop their skills as labor market require such as English, communications, teamwork and scientific research. However, acquiring such skills need a huge efforts from the students and the university. The university has shorten time by conducting international cooperation and partnerships, which is California and Quebec universities, are an example of it.
Then, a presentation about the University of California was delivered that discussed its objectives, visions and prominent achievements. Later on, another presentation was delivered that viewed the educational and academic cooperation between SAU and Quebec University.
At the end of the workshop, participant students and visitors of both universities were honored.
