Under the patronage of Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of SAU, the university represented by Deanship of Student Affairs has celebrated the 84th national day through variant cultural program. The celebration was held on Monday in the presence of a number of Vices-Rector, Deans, Students and university’s staff. It took place in the University City Theater.
At the beginning of the celebration, Rector has cut inauguration ribbon of the old photo gallery that accompanies the celebration. The photo gallery contained old and rear photos of King Abdul Aziz and a number the kingdom’s cities.
Further, the celebration began by verses from the holy Quran followed by a speech delivered by Dr. Misfire Kubairi Dean of Student Affairs. Dr. Kubairi extended his Congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Crown Prince, Royal Family and Saudi citizens. At the end of his speech, Dr. Kubairi thanked Rector for his unlimited moral and financial support to the deanship activities.
Furthermore, an Operetta was delivered that included a display about Allah’s blessing on the kingdom and about the kingdom’s establishment on the hand of the founding King Abdul Aziz Aal Saud.
Then, Dr. Al Asimi delivered a speech congratulating in his and the university’s members names the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince and Crown Prince Deputy. He praised the kingdom’s achievements during King Abdullah reign.
At the end of the celebration, Rector honored members of Insan association who participated in the ceremony. Then, Rector inaugurated the convoy of SAU that will participate the national day celebration in Al Kharj Province.
