As the first university in the Arab world, SAU launches a computing apprenticeship program during the first semester of the academic year 1435/14356H. In cooperation with experts from the university and many entities from the kingdom, the program would be launched through Blackboard and a forum dedicated for the program.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of SAU said that this qualitative program assists in nurturing talented persons and it unfolds their scientific and practical production. It also employ their energy in building their potentials and leadership skills that would qualify them to perform leadership and management tasks in the state institutions. The program will present additional educational services through connecting talented persons with international scientific and practical experts.
Dr. Fahad Arji Program Supervisor clarified that the program includes many objects. Perhaps, its most important objects are providing talented persons in the kingdom a chance to meet local and international experts, providing an interactive environment that connects the talented with sponsoring institutions and developing the talented skills, along with satisfying their knowledge, vocational and social needs. It provides a unique support to the talented persons of the Arab world, which is an addition to the presented programs by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Further, Dr. Al Asimi extended his thanks and appreciations to Dr. Khalid Angari Minister of Higher Education for his support that led to achieve the university’s goals. It is worth mentioning, the program has full support from the Ministry of Higher Education.
