During the last year, SAU has succeeded in attracting 221qualified citizen to fill lecturer and teaching assistant vacancies. Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Vice-Rector Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research clarified that number of academic vacancy applicant exceeded 1400 citizen. The applicants hold degrees in scientific, health and humanities majors, and they were graduated from Saudi universities and the scholarship program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Their applications were sorted in three stages; the first one has excluded those who did not meet the conditions of appointment because of their grades or major compatibility with vacancy. The second stage excluded applicants who did not pass the written exam, while the final stage differentiated between the applicants and appointed them according to their qualifications.
Prof. Al Hammed added that the university is keen to attract remarkable and to give our citizens the chance to build the university. Number of appointed teaching assistant reached 182 and lecturer is 39. The appointed are distributed on the university’s colleges in provinces of Al Kharj, Wadi Addawasir, Slayel, Hotat Bani Tamim, Aflaj and Dilam. He assured that the university would keep attracting distinguished citizens to fulfill the university’s strategy, which aims to achieve excellent academic education and Saudize such vacancies.
