In the presence of Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of SAU, the university students began displaying their participations that nominated in final qualifiers of the fifth Scientific Conference. The participations that reached 14 participations were displayed in the conferences hall of Riyadh InterContinental Hotel on the evening of Monday 28, 6/1435H.
The participations were distributed into the following groups scientific, community services, innovation, and artistic, as follows:
• Entrepreneurship three projects.
• Innovations one project.
• Scientific Research one project.
• Community Services two projects.
• Oratory two projects.
• Artistic Works five projects.
At the same evening, Dr. Khalid Angari Minister of Higher Education inaugurated activities of the conference, and then he took a tour in the accompanying exhibition of the conference and he listen to a brief about some of the participation. Then, Dr. Angari went to King Faisal Hall for Conferences to begin the opening ceremony of the conference.
The ceremony began by Verses from the Holly Quran. Further, Dr. Angari delivered a speech began by extending his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques and Crown Prince. The, he spoke about last conferences and its developments year after year, in addition to the benefits of such conferences on the students and community. At the end of his speech, Dr. Angari thanked the participants and contributors in this conference.
Further, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Planning and Information the Executive Chief of the Conference delivered a speech about the increasing number of the participations comparing to the past conferences, whereas it reached almost 570 from more than 5000 participation presented to the conference administration.
Furthermore, student Nora Dowsari delivered a speech on behalf of the participant students. Then, attendance watched a documentary about the conference from the beginning until the final stage.
Moreover, Rector thanked SAU students, who represented the university and he wished them success and prosperity.
