PSAU has recorded a new research achievement with several faculty members and researchers included in the Stanford University–Elsevier list of the world’s top 2% most-cited scientists.
In the 2026 global list, 25 PSAU researchers were included in the career-long impact category, representing a 56% increase compared with the previous year and reflecting the strength and continued development of their research contributions across various disciplines.
The single-year impact list for 2026 also included 111 PSAU researchers, an increase of 34% over the previous year. Of these, 23 researchers appeared in both categories, covering career-long impact and single-year research impact.
The result reflects PSAU’s efforts to support an academic and research environment that encourages excellence and innovation, strengthens its position in scientific research and innovation locally and internationally, and supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in advancing the knowledge economy and sustainable development.
