PSAU is offering seven short university programs under the “MicroX” initiative to develop advanced specialized skills linked to the needs of key sectors and provide flexible learning opportunities that respond to changing professional requirements and labor market needs.
PSAU is developing the programs in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, and the Saudi Export Development Authority. This cooperation helps align the programs with the actual needs of these sectors and draws on national expertise to identify priority skills and competencies.
The programs are being developed academically and delivered through a flexible digital format, providing focused training opportunities based on participants’ career paths. The programs are built around skills identified in coordination with sector skills councils and translated into learning outcomes and short academic programs in cooperation with partners, under the supervision of the National eLearning Center, which coordinates among the participating entities.
The programs are part of the “MicroX” initiative under the Human Capability Development Program, one of Saudi Vision 2030 programs. The initiative supports cooperation between academic institutions and development sectors and helps prepare Saudi talent to meet current and future labor market needs.
