Dr. Abdullah Jumaa Vice-Rector participated in the inauguration ceremony of Riyadh Economic Forum that is titled “Toward Sustainable Economic Development” and was held on 21/1/2020.
Dr. Jumaa praised the leadership’s support for the Forum, and he stressed the importance of the topics to be discussed by the Forum, which is concerned with the principle of participation and dialogue between all sectors and strengthening the role of the government sector in equipping it to carry out its responsibilities in line with the aspirations of the Kingdom leadership and the goals of Vision 2030.
It is worth mentioning, that the Forum discusses in its ninth session a number of studies: the role of balanced development in encouraging reverse migration, financial reforms and their impact on economic development, the role of the non-profit sector in economic and social development, future jobs in the Kingdom, environmental problems and their impact on economic and social development, This forum also gains its importance due to the fact that it coincides with the year in which the Kingdom presides and hosts the G20 Summit.
