The first batch of students, both male and female, from the International Cooperative Training Program have embarked on their training program at Imperial College London in the United Kingdom. This program provides students with the opportunity to train and learn in an international environment, expanding their academic and scientific horizons within their respective fields of specialization.
The program aims to train students, both male and female, on modern skills and techniques in various fields, allowing them to apply the concepts and skills they learn in classroom settings to real-world practical environments.
The program includes training courses and workshops on Sustainable Development Goals, entrepreneurship, clean energy and sustainable cities and communities, innovation in robotics, data science, and its applications. Additionally, it involves English language training, visits to various landmarks in Britain, and some scientific museums such as the Design Museum and the Science Museum. It includes the participation of 30 male and female students from various colleges at PSAU. It involves a month-long training period at Imperial College London, which is one of the top universities in the United Kingdom and the world. In addition, it provides a unique opportunity for students to learn the necessary skills for the modern job market, expand their capabilities, gain the practical experience needed to face challenges in the workforce and become acquainted with different cultures, thereby broadening their knowledge and understanding.
The students expressed their utmost happiness to the university's e-newspaper about the opportunity provided by the university to undergo training at Imperial College London. They praised the university's efforts in providing them with this opportunity and affirmed that this experience would help them enhance their skills and increase their prospects in the job market after graduation.
Moreover, the International Cooperation and Cultural Relations Department of the Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research has released the Student Guide for International Cooperative Training in London. This guide provides detailed information about international cooperative training, the colleges of Imperial College London, the daily program for students, and important instructions related to travel systems, including contact information for the Saudi Arabian Embassy and Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom. Earlier, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi, PSAU president, had a meeting with the students and praised the importance of international training programs in promoting cultural and academic cooperation between universities and educational institutions worldwide. He encouraged the students to make the most of this valuable educational experience and develop their practical and academic skills. He urged them to be excellent ambassadors for their country, culture, and rich heritage, as they represent their religion, homeland, and people.
