Thursday, 22/6/2023, PSAU President, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi, met with the first batch of students in the International Cooperative Training Program who are undergoing training in London. The meeting took place in the presence of university vice presidents at the auditorium of the Applied College in the university city of Al-Kharj.
Prof. Al-Talhi expressed his delight in meeting the trainee students and praised the importance of international training programs in enhancing cultural and academic cooperation between universities and educational institutions worldwide. He emphasized that the International Cooperative Training Program contributes to developing their practical skills in an international educational environment and expanding their knowledge in their respective fields of specialization. Dr. Al-Talhi encouraged the students to make the most of this valuable educational experience, develop their practical and academic skills, and be exemplary ambassadors for their country, culture, and rich civilization, as they represent their religion, homeland, and people. He urged them to adhere to the instructions of their supervisors and follow the guidelines issued by them, wishing them success in achieving their goals and developing their practical and academic skills during their training period.
On their part, the trainee students expressed their happiness for the opportunity of practical training in London and affirmed that this experience will help them develop their skills and increase their prospects in the job market after graduation.
It is worth mentioning that the International Cooperative Training Program includes students from various faculties of the university. It aims to provide practical training opportunities for students in their respective fields and to apply the concepts and skills they learn in classroom settings in a real work environment.
