Today, Wednesday, May 17, 2023, Professor Abdulrahman Al-Talhi, the university president, launched the new smartphone application "Mawared." The application includes numerous administrative electronic services that assist beneficiaries, including faculty members and employees, in completing their services quickly and facilitating them through advanced digital means that reflect the university's progress and development. In addition, it aims to enhance the beneficiary's experience and elevate the level of services provided by the university through digital solutions that ensure speed and efficiency.
This application comes as a support for the self-service platform "Mawared Plus" (mawaredplus.psau.edu.sa) and other e-service systems such as the communication system and the information technology services management system.
Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Daej the Dean of IT and Distance Learning stated that this application aims to enrich the experience of beneficiaries and facilitate their tasks and duties in obtaining fast services that align with the significant digital transformation taking place in the Kingdom. He further added, "In the development of the 'Mawared' application, we relied on a set of principles that revolve around ease of use, speed, efficiency, and providing a unified platform for several important electronic services for university staff. He mentioned that the deanship has adopted digital tools that enabled the development team to efficiently create the application. Therefore, it represents an advanced technological solution that offers beneficiaries a rich experience through important, simple, and intelligent features."
The university president expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Deanship of Information Technology and e-Learning for their efforts, which have had a clear and tangible impact on the digital transformation taking place at the university. The university president also mentioned that the application represents a new approach to an electronic system through which the university provides its administrative electronic services, utilizing an integrated interactive service environment that targets all beneficiaries of the university, including faculty members and employees.
