PSAU concluded its participation in the Sustainable Partnerships Conference, which was organized by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom during the period from 23 to 24 November 2022 in the city of Riyadh at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
The conference aims to link the research and innovation system in Saudi universities with the industrial and development sectors to contribute to the realization of Vision 2030, transform innovations and scientific research into economic products, direct innovation and entrepreneurship to contribute to economic growth, and create partnerships with the industrial and development sectors according to best international practices in the fields of research and innovation for maximum benefit. Through its scientific and knowledge production by presenting the universities' research products and innovative outputs and seeking to achieve integration in the roles between the universities and the sectors of research, development and innovation. The university's participating pavilion witnessed a remarkable public turnout by visitors throughout the days of the conference, as it highlights its most important scientific and research productions in the field of technology and its innovative outputs and patents represented by (14) innovative products.
Moreover, the University President participated in the dialogue session on strategic partnerships in universities and research institutions, as part of the activities of the Sustainable Partnerships Conference, through which he reviewed the most important ingredients and resources necessary for the success of research and innovative partnerships. Furthermore, the Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research and Innovation, Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmed Al-Sudairy, honored Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University as the “strategic sponsor” of the Sustainable Partnerships Conference, at the closing ceremony of the conference. The Ministry of Education also thanked the success partners, their excellencies, ministers, guests of the conference from the public and private sectors, and participating parties from Saudi universities and government ministries.
