On Monday, PSAU, represented by the Department of Public Relations and Media, held its annual celebration of the 92nd National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the university’s main theater. The celebration was held in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi, the Vice-President and deans, several faculty members, staff, and students.
The celebration witnessed many events starting with the national anthem, then a speech by the President, pomes, and operetta. The ceremony concluded with the Najdi Arda, one of the most famous folk dances performed on national occasions, festivals, and holidays in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The celebration activities witnessed the establishment of an exhibition of handicrafts.
It is worth noting that the university seeks to enhance the national identity of its students and affiliates by holding the celebration of the Kingdom’s National Day, which is the joy of every Saudi in unity, security, and prosperity, and by involving its students to celebrate the great achievements of the Kingdom, which is in line with the vision, goals, strategy and plans of the university. PSAU seeks to be a scientific academic beacon that serves society in all its categories and actively participates in national events.
