Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi Rector of PSAU inaugurated the Department of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Clinic for Treatment of Anal and Rectal Diseases Without Surgery at Al-Kharj University Hospital today, Monday 5/3/1443 AH.
During the opening, Rector listened to a detailed explanation of the department, its workflow, the modern medical equipment it contains for gastrointestinal endoscopy, the most prominent services provided by the endoscopy clinics, and the most important new technologies in it. He discussed the topics and plans related to services, identifying the most prominent needs of the hospital, and providing all the necessary requirements that contribute to continuous expansion and development. He pointed out that the opening of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Department will contribute to achieving cooperation towards medical integrative efforts between the University Hospital and the rest of the other hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health in Al-Kharj to enhance trust and communication between the medical staff and the patients. Noting the support and attention given by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the health of citizens and residents.
Moreover, the Executive Director of the University Hospital, Dr. Nasser Al-Dosari, explained that the gastrointestinal endoscopy department was equipped according to the latest medical standards for gastrointestinal endoscopy and for diagnosing the condition according to the opinion of the specialist doctor in this department. He indicated that it will serve the people of Al-Kharj Governorate, thus reinforcing one of the university's most important strategic goals in community service.
