On behalf of the Minister of Education and the President of the University Council, Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Hamid Rector of PSAUchaired the first session of the University Council for the academic year (1442 AH), which was held remotely through visual communication technology, on Monday 8/2/2021, in the presence of the Secretary General of the University Affairs Council, Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Saleh, university Vice-Rector, deans of colleges, support deanships and institutes.
Rector started the session, with the praise and praise of Allah, then he welcomed the members of the Council attending. For his part, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Khudairi – Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Secretary of the University Council, confirmed that the sixth session of the University Council this year contained a number of important topics. Among the most prominent of these was the approval of granting a master’s degree to (3) graduate students, and the council also approved (ending scholarship / transfer from a university) to (16) teaching assistants and lecturers. In addition to a number of decisions regarding faculty council memberships.
At the end of the session, Rector thanked the members of the distinguished council, praising their continuous efforts in advancing the academic and research process at the university.
