Prof. Abdul Aziz Al-Hamid Rector of PSAU received the annual report of the Deanship of the Preparatory Year for the academic year 1439-1440 AH, which included the most important achievements of the Deanship. The report was handed during the reception of Rector to Vice Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs Dr. Mishari Al-Osaimi, Dean of the Preparatory Year Deanship Dr. Fahd Al-Alawi and Vice-Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs.
During the meeting, he talked about the importance of the preparatory year, stressing the importance of the deanship in building positive values for university students and enhancing learning skills and critical thinking. He pointed out its important role in giving students the keys to adapt to university life and reduce dropout after privatization. He also appreciated the efforts and role of the Deanship in developing the English language skills of the students.
Dean of the Preparatory Year reviewed the statistics by the admitted, specialists and withdrawn and compared the current year with the past in terms of the number of admissions at the university.
Then, Rector thanked Dr. Al Alawi, and the Acting Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, of Dr. Mohammed Mahzari, for their clear and tangible efforts and their achievement of the objectives and vision of the Preparatory Year.
A copy of the report was also delivered to the Vice Rector for Academic and Academic Affairs, Dr. Mishari Al-Osaimi
For his part, the Dean of the Deanship of the Preparatory Year and the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs thanked the university leaders for their good reception and continuous support.
