Student Salem Al-Zaheer from the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Prince Sattam University achieved fifth place in the tenth cross-country championship of Saudi universities. The championship is hosted by PSAU under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad Al-Sheikh in the university city of Al-Kharj province on Thursday and Friday 25-26 / 2/1441H, with the participation of 23 universities and colleges represented by more than 100 students.
PSAU has achieved the seventh place in the general order. On the sidelines of the tournament, the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities held the technical meeting of the championship on Thursday evening in the VIP training hall in the presence of representatives of participating universities and colleges.
On Friday, the Vice-Rector of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Mishari Al-Osaimi, fired the start of the race in the presence of the President of the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities, Dr. Khalid Al-Muzaini and the Dean of Student Affairs at Prince Sattam University, Dr. Thalab Al-Shukra.
During the coronation ceremony, the Federation of Saudi Universities presented a commemorative shield to Rector of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, which it was received on his behalf by Dr. Mishari Al-Osaimi. The Federation also presented a memorial shield to the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Thalab Al-Shukra.
At the end of the ceremony, the Deanship of Student Affairs honored the Sports Federation of Saudi Universities with a commemorative shield and the success partners of the championship from government agencies and sponsoring companies.
