Represented by the Institute of Research and Consulting Services, PSAU participates in the Conference on Occupational Safety and Health, which is organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development under the patronage of the Minister of Labor Eng. Ahmed Bin Sulaiman Al Rajhi. It is held on Sunday and Monday, 23 and 24 Shaban 1440 H corresponding to 28 to 29 April 2019.
The conference aims to enhance the concept of business attractiveness, improve the business environment of enterprises by strengthening legislation and regulations and good practices in occupational safety and health, and to disseminate knowledge to contribute to raising the attractiveness of the work environment under effective partnerships and efforts among the parties concerned. Along with the permanent care and continuous support of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the development of the Saudi labor market, which contributes to the achievement of further development and prosperity, and attention to the human element in all aspects of life.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Development aims at raising the awareness of employers and workers in private sector establishments about the importance of protecting the safety and health of workers and enhancing the concept of safety of the work environment. This will contribute to the promotion of a work environment free from accidents and injuries.
