Under the patronage of Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hamid Rector of PSAU, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Prince Sattam University held on Thursday 2/8/1440 H. the closing ceremony of the third scientific forum in the university administration theater in the University City in Al-Kharj governorate. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Khudairi Vice-Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs, Vice-Rectors, Deans, a number of faculty members and students.
Rector inaugurated the exhibition accompanying the ceremony, which includes projects, researches, and innovations of the students participating in the forum. During the tour on the pillars of the exhibition, Rector took a brief about some of the student posts. Then, he went to the headquarters of the concert.
The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran. Then, Dr. Thlab Al-Shakra delivered a speech on this occasion. In which he mentioned the importance of these scientific gatherings for their scientific mobility, promotion and support of the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and the promotion of voluntary work, where preparations began at the beginning of the academic year to form the Higher Committee, which was keen to develop the forum this year to achieve its desired goals. At the end of his speech, Dr. Thalab expressed his thanks to Rector for his support to the forum. He also thanked the Chair of the Higher Committee of the Forum for his continuous follow-up to all the activities of the Third Scientific Forum.
After that, the audience saw a documentary about the march of the third scientific forum. Then the patron of the ceremony gave the university director a speech saying that this day is one of the most beautiful days of the university where we celebrate the students of the university participants and honor the winners of them. The university is proud of its students and faculty members. He saw them in the accompanying exhibition and stated that the university has a great challenge in building the personality of the student and building a large group of skills and scientific forum clearly contributes to achieving these goals. Competition, teamwork and dialogue are all skills needed by the market The university seeks to achieve these goals before the students start and engage in the labor market. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the organizers at the Deanship of Student Affairs and thanks to the participating students and participants, wishing them success and success.
Then, the Rector honored the researches, projects and students who participated in all the topics of the forum, as well as the coordinators of the faculties, the referees and the supporting bodies of the Deanship of Student Affairs in the success of the forum activities.
The Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Jamal Al-Hamdara, presented an introduction to the criteria and policy of the Excellence Award and the mechanism of evaluating the efforts of the colleges in establishing programs and activities and interacting with the activities at the university level. As well as the winners of the Quran Quiz and the competition of talents in the fourth edition, and the cooperating with the Deanship of Student Affairs in the implementation of programs and events.
