The Field Training Unit in the Vice-Rectorate for Educational and Academic Affairs has delivered to Dr. Ibrahim Al Khudairi Acting Vice-Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs the annual report to the academic year 1438/1439H. the delivery was during a meeting between Dr. Khudairi and a delegation from the unit besides members of the committee supporting the field training program. The meeting was on Monday 3/4/1440H.
Dr. Fraih Enizi the Supervisor of the unit gave a brief about the tasks and objectives of the Unit's work and the development of work plans to achieve those goals and the level of achievement in each goal. He added such achievements were possible by the support of Dr. Khudairi and the efforts of the unit members.
During the meeting, she reviewed the most important achievements during the past academic year, which included the development and adoption of a list of rules and procedures for field training, with the aim of organizing joint work between all parties in field training. The unit developed distinguished partnerships with more than (35) training institutions, which culminated in the signing of 9 memorandums of understanding with major sectors and companies to provide quality and sustainable opportunities for field training for university students in various disciplines. A workshop was organized to explore field training opportunities for university students. (9) agreements with major companies working in important, vital and related fields with many specialties at the university.
At the end of the meeting, Dr. Khudairi praised the efforts of the Field Training Unit and the Field Training Program Support Committee in view of the achievements that have contributed significantly to improving the results of the field training program for the university students and for preparing national competencies capable of competition, work and creativity to be part of the development process of the homeland and an achievement factor for the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
