Based on its mission and to achieve its strategic objectives in providing outstanding academic programs for students and continuous development and enhancing quality applications, The College of Applied Medical Sciences at PSAU represented by its Dean, Dr. Maher Al Enezi signed an agreement with the German International Academic Accreditation Authority (AHPGS) to obtain the international academic accreditation. The agreement aims at obtaining international accreditation for the five undergraduate programs offered by the College, namely Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Bachelor of Radiology and Medical Imaging, Bachelor of Medical Laboratories, Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Biomedical Technology.
Under the supervision of Vice-Dean for Quality and Graduate Studies Dr. Saud Al-Subaie, Vice-Deanship of Quality and Graduate Studies has prepared a work plan that includes the formation of a number of sub-committees in the scientific departments to prepare the required models from the German Commission, besides preparing a self-study for each of the five programs. In addition, a number of different committees and units of the college have prepared and updated many of the guides and translated them into English as a guide for the academic guidance of the student and for the faculty member and the training and excellence manual. Moreover, A committee was also set up to develop the college's website, update it and translate its English content to be a suitable interface for the college's educational, training, scientific research and community service.
It is worth mentioning, the signage of this agreement and many other similar agreements came through direct supervision from Vice-Rectorate of Development and Quality, the Direction of Rector,
