Dr. Abdul Rahman Khudairi Acting Vice-Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs the website of the Field Training Unit during its meeting with the supervisor of the field training unit as well as the members of the committee of support of the field training program on Wednesday, 20/3/1440 H corresponding to 28/11/2018.
The portal was developed by a joint work of the field training unit and the support committee of the field training program and in collaboration with the applications department in the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Education. The development stage was passed through a number of stages in order to ensure the universality and ease of electronic services provided through the portal and to ensure that it meets the needs of all parties in the field training system of colleges, coordinators, students and training bodies. During the meeting, Dr. Khudairi reviewed the contents of the field training website as well as all portal services. He praised the field training unit, the field training program support committee and the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Learning for their efforts towards the development of electronic services.
Moreover, during the meeting, Dr. Freih Al-Enezi, Supervisor of the Field Training Unit and Head of the Field Training Support Committee, received the direct support and guidance from the Acting Vice-Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs. Dr. Khudairi direction led to the development of the field training system in the university. The directions included in addition to the field training portal, a list of organizational procedures for field training has been developed as a reference and general guide for colleges, students and training providers. It aimed to achieve the best standards in the implementation of field training programs to be the outputs of the fact that earn the student and the necessary professional and personal skills and prepare it well to be a strong competitor in the labor market after graduation. He praised the efforts of the members of the Field Training Program Support Committee for their outstanding and outstanding efforts to upgrade everything that serves the field training program. He added that work is underway to implement a work plan that will contribute to upgrading the field training program at the university.
