On 20/3/1440h, Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU received at his office external scholars students at PSAU. The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic and Academic Affairs and some deans of colleges and Vice-Deans.
At the beginning of the meeting, Rector expressed his happiness for meeting the students and for their enrolment in the university. He pointed out that the presence of scholarship students at the university is an important addition to increase diversity and competition within the classrooms. He urged students to make more efforts to acquire education, acquire skills and values and move them home after completing their studies. On behalf of the scholarship students, Rector thanked the Vice-Rector of Educational and Academic Affairs, the Deanship of Admission and Registration, the Deanship of Student Affairs and the Arabic Language Program for scholarship students for their outstanding efforts.
Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Thalab Al-Shakra delivered a speech in which he said that the continuous cooperation with the Deanship of Admission and Registration has resulted in attracting these students and overcoming all difficulties to find a suitable educational environment with all services and amenities.
Dr. Khaled Al-Assem, Vice-Dean of Student Affairs for Technical Affairs, presented an overview of the Student Scholarship Unit with the Deanship of Student Affairs, the services it provides and the role it plays, including facilitating the provision of services to students for their involvement in the educational process.
The student, Shaheed Abdul Ghaffar, from the Philippines, gave a speech on behalf of the students, in which he thanked Saudi Arabia for giving them the opportunity to complete their university studies, and also thanked PSAU for receiving them and providing all services. He also stressed that all students will make more effort to learn and benefit.
The Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Saqer explained the future plan of the university in attracting students of grants and the mechanism in this regard, and the numbers expected to be accepted during the coming years, and the programs that will be presented to them.
