Dr. Abdullah Saqer Vice-Rector of Branches met Dr. Khalid Al Debian Head of the Intellectual Awareness Unit and the accompanying delegation. The meeting aimed to enhance cooperation and benefiting from the Unit in the field of intellectual awareness.
Dr. Saqer listened to a detailed brief from Dr. Khaled Al-Dabayan contains the vision, mission and objectives of the Unit for Intellectual Awareness and what the University is doing through unity in this field of activities. Al-Debian explained the plan of the intellectual awareness unit for the current academic year 1440/1439 AH. And the need for units in colleges and discuss a number of topics. He pointed out the importance of the participation of faculty members, university staff and students in the programs and the presentation of development proposals. He pointed out that this year's plan includes organizing meetings, lectures and scientific seminars in which specialized experts, academicians and university students participate, and launching a new program for this year. He added that the unit aims to achieve lofty goals, focusing on consolidating the values of security in its comprehensive sense, and the values of intellectual and specific security in particular, and strengthening them in the same employees of the university in particular.
Dr. Saqer thanked the Head of the Intellectual Awareness Unit and the accompanying delegation for the efforts exerted by the Unit during the review of the programs and events they held during the past year and the plan for the current year, expressing the Agency's readiness and unlimited support to achieve the objectives and mission of the Unit.
