On behalf of Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Khudairi Vice-Rector of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research inaugurated the activities of (Takhasosak) Program. It was launched on Monday 27/2/1440H and in the presence of a number of deans and vice-deans at the lobby of Applied Medical Sciences College.
he program is one of the most important programs organized by the Deanship of the preparatory year in cooperation with the colleges in the health, scientific and engineering track. It aims to guide the students to the appropriate specialization and guidance in the scientific steps in selecting the appropriate specialization, in accordance with their scientific abilities, and answer the questions of students, and take full conviction in the specialization before choosing, and directing the tendencies of students according to their scientific ability to choose the appropriate specialization.
The ceremony began at the reception; whereas, Dr. Mushari Osaimi Dean of the Preparatory Year welcomed the guests. Then Dr. Fahad Alawy Vice-Dean of Educational and Academic Affairs talked about the Deanship's keenness to take all the measures that would make this program a success because of its importance, as well as talk about why the program is offered for the first semester so that the student can get early on the correct information about each of the colleges he aspires. He also referred to the start of internal and external student visits for the first time, which would open the student's horizons towards specialization. The participants were then honored.
Furthermore, Dr. Khudairi cut the inauguration ribbon to start the exhibit the includes The College of Medicine, College of Dentistry, College of Applied Medical Sciences, College of Pharmacy and Engineering Track are: College of Engineering, College of Computer Engineering and College of Science and Humanities. A detailed explanation of the participation of each wing through the information provided by the students about their colleges to the visitors of the exhibition. The Deanship will host a number of private entities to guide students towards the labor market and its requirements, such as Al Nahdi Pharmacy Group, Seven Medical Rehabilitation Center and Al-Kharj Clinics Complex. he program is accompanied by some of the accompanying activities: Workshop: Selection of the specialty Presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Dr. Ahmed Ajina. And a course entitled How to determine your career path by Dr. Khaled Al-Sahli. As well as a course entitled: Cybersecurity and protection of the user from the dangers of electronic space Presented by: Dr. Adel bin Baisis, in addition to the course set your goal of the presentation of Mr. Hossam Badawi. The program also includes visits to the faculties of health, science and engineering at the university as well as visits to some third parties operating, to achieve integration between the university and the community in order to achieve the vision of the Kingdom.
